senior space systems engineer
DESCRIPTION: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses for satellite systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses for satellite systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 5-10 years of relevant work experience in addition to a Bachelor's degree engineering, physics or equivalent relevant work experience. Additional education may substitute for experience.

Provide technical analysis for business development. Solid background in software engineering, object oriented design and strong programming skills in at least C/C++ or Java.
